London Priority Period
Anybody with a presence in London or an interest in London is able to apply for Dot London domain names. There is a mandatory period for trademark holders in ICANN’s Trademark Clearinghouse (TMCH) to get their registered trademarks.

Allocation of names during this phase depend on a priority ranking. The following is the priority ranking of customers:

- Those in the Trademark Clearinghouse
- Those having a London address AND a right to a name (e.g. it matches their business name)
- Those having a London address for any name
- Those without a presence in London

Where there is more than one application for a name those applicants will be validated by an external validation agent. If, after validation, multiple applicants for the same domain name end up in the highest priority ranking then an auction process will be used to determine who will get the domain name.

City Government Affiliated Phase
This limited registration period will make available certain domain names reserved by New York City to qualified New York City government affiliated agencies, organizations and entities.

Bar Family Names Sunrise
The purpose of this Sunrise is to allow resident Bar people to register their surnames under the .bar TLD prior to general availability. This is called the “Bar Family Names Sunrise” or locally the “Sanrajz period za registraciju prezimena na .bar domenima”.

This Sunrise is restricted to applicants meeting the strict application and eligibility requirements set forth in this Policy.

Limited Registration Period
This period allows (i) the City of Cologne priority registration - as holder of all rights and title in the TLD designation ".koeln" - or for other public bodies, in particular for the City's subordinate bodies and self regulatory professional organisations and chambers ("Reserved Domain Names") and (ii) (future) Domain Holders priority registration of Domain Names if they can demonstrate a special bond to the City of Cologne.

Limited Registration Period
This period allows (I) the City of Cologne priority registration - as holder of all rights and title in the TLD designation ".cologne" - or for other public bodies, in particular for the City's subordinate bodies and self regulatory professional organisations and chambers ("Reserved Domain Names") and (II) (future) Domain Holders priority registration of Domain Names if they can demonstrate a special bond to the City of Cologne.

Public Interest Limited Registration Period
Limited Registration Period to allow legal entities which have a specific vocation in promoting the worldwide Scottish public interest, including Public Administrations with competences in Scotland, to register:

- their own names (including clear variations and/or abbreviations thereof),
- their online services,
- the same domain names registered by them in other TLDs and effectively used, and
- their registered trademarks.

Local Trademarks LRP
Limited Registration Period to allow legal entities to register:

- Non TMCH-validated trademarks with effect in Scotland:
(i.e. UK trademarks, EU Community trademarks, and WIPO International trademarks with effect in UK) and

- Geographical Indications:
recognized by International or UK legislation.

Other prior rights LRP
Limited registration period intended to allow entities with legal seat in Scotland to register:
(i) their registered name and/or trading names (including clear variations and/or abbreviations thereof); and/or
(ii) the same domain names registered by them in other TLDs and effectively used.

Pioneers Period
The domain name registrant must abide to the provisions of "Chinese Internet Domain Name Management Regulations”, in order not to violate the Chinese laws and regulations. All domain name registered during Pioneers Period shall be registered through an ICANN-Accredited Registrar and on a first come-first served basis.

Priority Launch Period
There are two priority launch periods:

• Period 1 – Government Allocation Period
• Period 2 – .au Priority Period

During this time, applications for domain names are limited to certain eligible applicants. To find out if you qualify for the priority launch periods, or if your circumstances are more suited to General Availability, please refer to the Launch Policy.

Pioneers Period
The domain name registrant must abide to the provisions of "Chinese Internet Domain Name Management Regulations”, in order not to violate the Chinese laws and regulations. All domain name registered during Pioneers Period shall be registered through an ICANN-Accredited Registrar and on a first come-first served basis.

Public Administrations Limited Registration Period
For Public Authorities of the “Areas where the Arabic script has some type of official use” (as defined in this Policy), with respect to their own names; names of public services; and geographical names not otherwise reserved by the Registry Operator.

Limited Registration Period
In order to participate in a Limited Registration Period the Applicant must submit an Application for a
domain name that:

- Was not previously Allocated as a result of an Application submitted during the Sunrise Period;
- Is not Eligible for Allocation;
- Is not the subject of an Application that is being currently processed by the auction provider.

Domain names subject of Applications submitted during the Limited Registration Period will only be
Allocated following the Allocation of all domain names applied for during the Sunrise Period.
In order to resolve multiple Applications for the same domain name, the Applicant may be invited to
take part in an auction.

Public Interest Limited Registration Period (LRP)
Limited Registration Period to allow legal entities which have a specific remit in regards to the promotion of the .quebec community, including Public Administrations with competences in Québec, to register:

(i) their own names (including clear variations and/or abbreviations thereof),
(ii) their online services,
(iii) the same domain names registered by them in other TLDs and effectively used, and
(iv) their registered trademarks.

Local Trademarks LRP
Limited Registration Period to allow legal entities to register:

-­‐ Non TMCH-­‐validated trademarks with effect in Canada:
(i.e. Canadian trademarks registered at the Canadian Intellectual Property Office)
-­‐ Geographical Indications:
recognized by International or Canadian legislation.

Other prior rights LRP
Limited registration period intended to allow entities with legal seat in Québec to register:

(i) their registered name and/or trading names (including clear variations and/or abbreviations thereof); and/or
(ii) the same domain names registered by them in other TLDs and effectively used.

Public Administration Launch Program
This category (pending ICANN approval) allows relevant Public Authorities in the Greater area of Paris (Région Îlede- France) to register (i) their own names (including any clear variations and abbreviations thereof and other terms in common use to describe them); (ii) names of public services for which they have specific responsibilities; and (iii) geographical names for any subdivision of the Greater area of Paris (e.g. departments, districts, neighborhoods cantons, streets…), local landmarks, and other locally-relevant and iconic names over which they are the relevant authority.

Other prior rights Limited Registration Period
Limited registration period for holders of (i) corporate names, trade names and DBA names, including clear variations and/or abreviations thereof, of corporations with legal seat or place of business in the Greater area of Paris (Région Île-de-France); and (ii) registered names, including clear variations and/or abreviations thereof, of non-for-profit legal entities with legal seat or place of business in the Greater area of Paris (Région Île-de-France).

(iii) the same domain names registered by them in other TLDs and effectively used, and
(iv) their registered trademarks.

Local Trademarks LRP
Limited Registration Period to allow legal entities to register:

- Non TMCH-­validated trademarks with effect in the areas where Basque is an autochthonous language:
(i.e. Spanish or French trademarks, EU Community trademarks, and WIPO International trademarks with effect in Spain or France)

Prior Content LRP
Limited registration period intended to allow legal entities proving prior online communications in Basque (e.g. through a website, mailing list, blog…) to register:

(ii) the same domain names registered by them in other TLDs and effectively used

If more than one applicant as submitted an application for the same name within this category, the successful applicant will be determined by auction.

Public Interest LRP
Limited Registration Period to allow legal entities which have a specific vocation in promoting the Galician community Public Interest, including Public Administrations with competences Galicia, to register:

(ii) their online services,
(iii) the same domain names registered by them in other TLDs and effectively used, and
(iv) their registered trademarks.

Local Trademarks LRP
Limited Registration Period to allow legal entities to register:

- Non TMCH-­validated trademarks with effect in the areas where Basque is an autochthonous language:
(i.e. Spanish trademarks, EU Community trademarks, and WIPO International trademarks with effect in Spain or France)

Prior Content LRP
Limited registration period intended to allow legal entities proving prior online communications in Galician (e.g. through a website, mailing list, blog…) to register:

(i) their official names (including clear variations and/or abbreviations thereof); and/or

(ii) the same domain names registered by them in other TLDs and effectively used

If more than one applicant as submitted an application for the same name within this category, the successful applicant will be determined by auction.

GOVERNMENT DEP AND BUSINESSES
During this phase, government institutions, companies and organisations established in Belgium may submit an application for ‘organisationname.vlaanderen’ or ‘organisationname.brussels’.

To summarise, you can apply for:

- your official name or designation, the acronym of that name, your trademark or brand name, the name of a geographical area and name of origin or provenance if you are a government institution
- your brand name, trading name, company name and name of origin or provenance if you are a company
- your brand name, trading name, company name and name of origin or provenance if you are an organisation

GOVERNMENT DEP AND BUSINESSES
During this phase, government institutions, companies and organisations established in Belgium may submit an application for ‘organisationname.vlaanderen’ or ‘organisationname.brussels’.

To summarise, you can apply for:

- your official name or designation, the acronym of that name, your trademark or brand name, the name of a geographical area and name of origin or provenance if you are a government institution
- your brand name, trading name, company name and name of origin or provenance if you are a company
- your brand name, trading name, company name and name of origin or provenance if you are an organisation

Limited Registration Period
Available to inhabitants, companies, non-profit organisations and public services of the region of Ghent

Welsh Business Priority Phase
Period during which holders of Eligible Rights will have the opportunity to apply to register one or more Domain Names which are an Exact Match to the mark in respect of which they have an Eligible Right, where the Domain Name was not registered during the TMCH Registered Rights Sunrise. If more than one Application is validated during this Phase for the same Domain Name, priority will be given to the Applicants that can show Use in Wales. If more than one Applicant can prove Use in Wales, such Domain Name will be registered following the outcome of an Auction Process

Welsh Business Priority Phase
Period during which holders of Eligible Rights will have the opportunity to apply to register one or more Domain Names which are an Exact Match to the mark in respect of which they have an Eligible Right, where the Domain Name was not registered during the TMCH Registered Rights Sunrise. If more than one Application is validated during this Phase for the same Domain Name, priority will be given to the Applicants that can show Use in Wales. If more than one Applicant can prove Use in Wales, such Domain Name will be registered following the outcome of an Auction Process

PHASE FOR PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS
During this phase, all holders of a valid Belgian eID card having the Belgian nationality may lodge an application for ‘name.vlaanderen’ or ‘name.brussels’.

You can apply for a .vlaanderen or .brussels domain name that corresponds with:

- Your family name
- Your family name and first name
- Your first name and family name
- Your family name and the first letter of your first name
- The first letter of your first name and family name

PHASE FOR PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS
During this phase, all holders of a valid Belgian eID card having the Belgian nationality may lodge an application for ‘name.vlaanderen’ or ‘name.brussels’.

You can apply for a .vlaanderen or .brussels domain name that corresponds with:

- Your family name
- Your family name and first name
- Your first name and family name
- Your family name and the first letter of your first name
- The first letter of your first name and family name

Pioneer Program Allocation
The Registry Operator will allow those qualified companies, community groups, cultural organizations and business associations proactively develop and use their .taipei extension prior to public launch of general availability by reviewing the proposal sent by potential applicants.

The pioneer names will be allocated to registrant after the Sunrise Period in the event that names are not to be registered by third party during the Sunrise Period.

The qualified registrant would register the domain name for two (2) years. All name registered shall be included in ICANN’s mandatory trademark claims process.

NABP Programs Limited Registration Period
During this phase NABP VIPPS, NABP Vet-VIPPS and NABP e-advertiser dispensing pharmacies will be able to register their requested names.

Dispensing Pharmacies Application Period
The .pharmacy Supporters Advisory Committee has recommended a “slow-start” allocation mechanism whereby only NABP program approved pharmacies and dispensing pharmacies will be allocated .pharmacy names in the initial phases of the .pharmacy launch. Per the .pharmacy governance document, the Registry Operator will follow this advice. This phase allows for those dispensing pharmacies to apply for and be evaluated for eligibility to register a .pharmacy name.

Local Government Limited Registration Period
Opportunity for the municipal government and other public bodies within the city of Amsterdam to register domain names in the TLD.
Only applications from one predetermined registrar are accepted.

Taipei Enterprise Sunrise Period 1
Only companies, community groups, business associations, and individual registered in Taipei City or New Taipei City who owns trademark certification issued by Taiwan trademark institution are allowed to submit Application(s).
● Allocation: Multiple Applications for the same domain name will proceed to auction after the end of landrush period.
● Naming Rule:
(1)must be consistent with the complete trademark label or part of it, the English business name of the legal person, the English translation of the legal person’s Chinese name, or the combination of the trademark label and business name;
(2)spaces or other symbols(exclude hypen) in the trademark label should be deleted or replaced with hyphens;
(3)must be relevant to the applicant’s trademark or business name and be able to identify the applicant’s merchandise, services, or organization. .taipei Registry will verify the qualification and domain name label and may, in its sole discretion, reject the application.
● Verification: Any qualified companies, community groups, and business associations should provide Personal ID or business registration number and trademark proof materials when they apply for domains.
● Claim Service: All name registered shall be included in ICANN’s mandatory trademark claims process.

FOUNDERS PERIOD
For founding members of fTLD to register domains. Founding members are identified with an asterisk at www.ftld.com/endorsers.

Limited Registration Period
A period running concurrently with the Sunrise Period, during which only certain specific entities and/or individuals will have the right to register their domain names in the TLD.

Taipei Enterprise II
Only companies, community groups, business associations, and individual registered in Taipei City or New Taipei City are allowed to submit Application(s).
Allocation: Multiple Applications for the same domain name will proceed to auction after the end of landrush period.

Qualified Launch Program
DERHomes, LCC will accept proposals from prospective Pioneers, and select from these submissions a limited number of Pioneers (no more than 100) based on
their commitment to promote and build awareness around the .HOMES TLD. All Rights Protection Mechanism terms will apply to domain names registered by
DERHomes, LLC Pioneers during this Period.

LRP public administrations
This period is open to :
• the Public Administrations: communes, communities of communes, community of cities, french EPCI, international, national, regional, local and municipal and government services; public bodies or entities under French law (agencies, consortia, commissions and other administrative services) of the Region Corsica, or competent in the territory;
• the 1901 Law Associations established in Corsica (departments 2A and 2B).

The applicant of a Public Administration or Association may register as Domain Name:
• The official name / administrative organization,
• The use name of the organization,
• The names of public services or products,
• The names of brands under control,
• The name of the events it produces or brokers,
• The name of a program it administers,
• Corsicans Geographical names (county, townships, neighborhoods, streets, notable places, etc.)
• The names of monuments, symbols,
• The variants, variations and abbreviations recognized previously mentioned names.

The following nomenclature should be respected:
• For common names: nom.corsica
• For communities of municipalities: cc-­‐name.corsica
• For communities of « agglomeration »: agglo-­‐name.corsica

Requests for names registered by la Collectivité Territoriale de Corse will have priority over those submitted by other Public Authorities.

LRP other marks
Are eligible for registration of a domain name in .corsica all other brands which are not listed on the TMCH.

Are concerned:
• the marks in force in France:
o French registered trademarks with the INPI,
o the EU Community Trade Marks filed with the OHIM
o International brands WIPO in force in France and designating it;
• geographical indications and designations of origin subject to a protection and recognized by international treaties, international regulations and / or French law;
• company name, trade name, brand, company logo, for organizations located in the 2 Corsican departments (2A Corse du Sud, 2B Haute Corse).

These applications will be accepted and will be processed simultaneously on the basis of date and time of arrival and with no order of priority.

Landrush Phase 2
During the 2 (Second) LRP, the right for priority registration is given to:
• Exclusive owners of trade names;
• Exclusive owners for geographical indications of goods origin;
• Founders of the mass media registered under the procedure specified in the laws effective in
the Russian Federation.

Landrush Phase 3
During the 3 (Third) LRP, the right for priority registration is given to:
• Public Authorities, governmental and non­governmental public administration bodies, local
self­governance bodies, government institutions and non­profit organizations whose purpose
and objectives are in compliance with the mission or values of the TLD.РУС.

Sunrise 2
Sunrise II is a priority registration phase for local government, public institutions and trademark holders whose marks are not registered or not eligible to be registered in the TMCH and marks that are registered in the TMCH but generate no valid labels. Holders of trademarks in non-ASCII scripts, regional collective marks and other rights holders are also eligible to apply during this phase.
Where there are multiple applications for the same domain, priority will be given first to applications from local government and public institutions. Multiple applications for the same domain thereafter will result in an auction.
Eligible qualifications for this phase include, but are not limited to:
* Nationally or regionally registered trademarks;
* Court-validated marks; and Marks protected by statute or treaty
* Regional collective marks
* Business or organisation registration certificates
* No supporting documentation is required on submission of an application, however the registry may require such documents to be submitted, eg a trademark certificate. Validation may take up to 10 days from the date of an application and no domains will be allocated prior to completion of the validation process.
Domain names must be an identical match to the trademark (or other eligible qualification):
* Where non-ASCII characters are contained in the mark, it is possible to apply for domains that are an ASCII transliteration.
* Where both ASCII and non-ASCII characters are contained in the mark, it is possible to apply for domains containing all textual elements of the trademark (or other eligible qualification) with non-ASCII transliterated into ASCII characters.
* Where a trademark certificate includes representations of the same mark in multiple scripts, the corresponding domain may be registered in ASCII characters.
* Where a trademark contains one or more hyphens, these may be omitted, provided that the domain meaning is not altered.
* Company or organisation identifiers (eg INC, KK, etc) may be omitted.
* Trademarks registered in Japanese characters may be transliterated in accordance with Japanese government or global (ISO3602) standards or other generally accepted systems such as the Hepburn system.
* Trademarks registered in scripts containing diacritical marks, such as the German umlaut or Spanish tilde, may be registered in ASCII characters with marks omitted or using conventionally accepted spelling (eg “ae”, etc).
* Domains may be registered for 1 year during the Sunrise II Phase.

Landrush Phase 4
The Landrush registration is held in 54 days using mechanism of “Dutch Auction” with fixed
prices stepping down from higher to lower, with a pose of 24 hours between each step.

Landrush Phase 5
Priority LRP will grant to the Companies with company papers and individual Persons who
have a matching domain name registration in good standing in the .RU registry. LRP will last
for 67 days and all domains registered in in this category are subject to the mandatory rights
protection mechanisms such as TM Claims, URS and UDRP.

Preferred Access Period
Arts-related not-for-profits, museums, institutions, galleries, artists and established members of the art world can registe

Limited Registration
Will be limited to existing .eth domain holders who have secured their .eth domain by or before 21 September 2018

Sunrise II
no TMCH entry required

Sunrise II (without TMCH)
- EPP is active; All registrations will be put into a pending status as trademark rights are verified.
- Registrars must submit client’s proof of registered mark
- Successful trademark verification will result in the registration being allocated.

Limited Registration Period
Only content creation platforms specializing in the creation and distribution of internet memes may apply for .meme domain names.

The registrant must be a company using the form of a "LTDA".
